| I felt like making a thread about books since i spend a huge percentage of my time reading i thought it would be something interesting for us to talk about. To start off i think i will just list a few of the books/authors i really really like and what i am reading currently. Feel free to join in with your favorites or comentary on anyone elses choices. Favorite authors/series: Bernard Cornwell (Sharpes series) David Weber (Honor Harrington, Dahak, 1632) William Gibson (pretty much everything) Neal Stephenson (early works) Neal Gaiman Clive Cussler Terry Goodkind George RR Martin Phillup Pullman Stephen Hunter Tom Clancy (early works) as you can see i tend towards Fantasy and Sci-Fi with a bit of thriller thrown in on the side Currently i am reading All Tomorrows Parties by William Gibson and the newest of the Gaunts Ghosts books by Dan Abbnet. I really wish that Gibson would go back to the earlier more pure cyberpunk feel of his earlier works but still this current book is pretty fantastic. The Gaunts Ghosts book is good so far not really on par with gibson for wordcraft but still very entertaining since i love the warhammer 40K setting so very much. as an aside i suggest to anyone on this forum that you read Alex Roys The Driver it's fucking awesome easily one of the best car related books i have ever read. so thats pretty much it for me what is everyone else out there reading these days?

| Wants Rick Astley's Babies | Nice thread, even though we had a "recommed a book" thread before, I believe (started it). Its old, though. Anyway, right now I'm a bit focused on books and articles about facial and mandibuar surgery and mandibular orthodontics. Also I like Frank Perry, Bill Brysons Travel Guides, Henning Mankell and all the cheap thrills authors a la Dan Brown, Grisham, Gerritsen...

| I'm currently reading Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld, which I'm really enjoying. My favourite books tend to be non-fiction, but I absolutely loved World War Z. A real page-turner if ever I've read one. I haven't read the Zombie Survival Guide yet, but maybe I should.

| One Hundred Days by Admiral Sandy Woodward and Patrick Robinson, the memoirs of the british battle group commander in the falklands, pretty good read so far. The Hitchhikers Guide books are probably some of my favorite books of all time, though the first is the best by quite some way.
