^ There's actually a special thread for non-Top Gear related song identification. You'll probably have much more luck if you post your request there. http://forums.finalgear.com/entertainment/other-song-requests-1707/
It sounds distinctive enough so somebody should be able to guess it.
0yeah it does sound great, thanks for the response though
once I find out what it actually is I will keep you posted
this song has been in my head for a month now got to find it ..hehe`
Does anyone have the Gumball 3000 Soundtrack, or know where a torrent of it exists?
One of my heros Slash on Letterman a few days ago.

I must advise:
Tranquilize - The Killers and
You Cross My Path - The Chartalans -> Legal Free Download
Are there any Lynyrd Skynrd fans here, or southern rock in general?
After not listening to the genre for a long time I have recently "rediscovered" one of my all time favorite bands. The amount of truly classic tunes they made between 73-77 is astonishing!
does any one have any southern rock recommendations? I like The Allman Brothers too!
I'll quote myself from the cool videos thread, this is truly magical!
Yee-haw!!!!
423Love the Allman brothers. The album "A decade of hits:1969-1979" is by far, the best long distance driving album, bar none.
As for other bands, I would recommend:
.38 Special
Credence Clearwater Revival
Molly Hatchet
Marshall Tucker Band

Wintersun, With one of the greatest guitarplayers ever: Jari Mäenpää!!

Jay - Yep Credence Clearwater Revival go for that. Cosmos Factory.

Listening to "A decade of hits" now![]()
Oh yeah 38 Special, another Van Zant! I am a huge CCR fan too, will check out the other two, thanks!
If only I could be cruising on an empty US highway now, V8 under the hood and "free bird" flowing from the speakers!! 8)
edit: who would have thought this bunch of guys could sound so good!

423Listening to Bob Seger's "night moves" always has me reflecting on my youth, reminds me of the summer of 1993, the summer I lost my...innocence to green eyed beauty who was a year older than me. But, with any teenage romance, it ended when summer ended and she went off to college. I was heartbroken for three years, can you believe it?
That summer was very hot, both unusually sunny, and it seemed to rain virtually every night. Had alot of fun in the back of my dad's 1986 Pontiac Parisenne.
Avanti: You keep bringing up songs that I have a story to attach to! Then again, I am a person who likes to dwell on the past, both good and bad.![]()

I'm the same way, listening to these old songs brings back a lot of memories from the past. But they also bring back more recent stuff that you had not had time to experience yet when you heard them the first time... If that makes sense...
Another of my favorite midwesterners John Cougar Mellencamp!
John seems like a really good guy, and he makes damn good meaningful music!
