I missed them in Boston in December, and my friend managed to go see them in Connecticut for his birthday.![]()
I heard they kick even more ass live, so go for it.

* muse (3rd time)
* pearl jam
* beastie boys

299Saw them in 2006, fantastic show! 14th row on the floor, what an experience!

Did they dig up the Ox?
If not, then it is not the Who.
*sigh*

You'd never believe they were both past 60, though Roger managed to avoid any complications with his voice both times I went. As for whether The Who is still The Who with just the two of them left, Pete commented on this once, declaring them to be a "brand" rather than just a "band", and no longer so hinged on the membership; Zak Starkey was offered full "membership" at one point, so it's still a fluid group. Yes, fundamentalist fans won't like it one bit, but then again people said the same thing after Keith Moon died, and the band still played on.
The Who are headlining Glastonbury on Sunday night. I heard on BBC R1 that a band offered to headline, but all nights were full and the promotor said he wouldnt offer them anything less than headline. Does anyone know if they changed the schedule to accomodate The Who??

Kind of a pointless bump, but tomorrow is the day.
The bad news is... the supporting act is 'The Ordinary Boys'.![]()

Hmm, I would love to go but the nearest to me is when I have an exam and it would be nearly £70 for a ticket. Already going seeing Rush at £45 and Ross Noble at £25 and I'm just a poor student.
Ross Nobel![]()
F*** me... it was awesome.
I was front row bang in-front of Roger so it made it even better for me.
The only song that they hadn't done and i wanted them to do was 'Magic Bus' and at the end this guy just shouted "magic bus" which i laughed at (if you've seen THAT Simpson's episode you'll understand.)
'The Ordinary boys' came out and got the occasional bottle/toilet roll thrown at them and apart from two c*** shouting "Preston"... the emo's booed them and most of us didn't even clap them.
You have to go and see them before either you or they die.![]()
I missed them when they came through Seattle, I think it was last fall. Them, and Eric Clapton who performed here back in March.
At least I got tickets for The Police (next wednesday, mofos!) and Earth, Wind & Fire on July 22nd. This summer will be full of great shows.
