It was a good movie, top notch animation as always from Pixar, good hearted story, but it was lacking something I can't put my finger on. I don't know what it is, but it's been sitting in the back of my mind since I got home. I'll try to expand on it later if I can. Anyway, it was far better than Cars and I highly recomend seeing it. Also the short before the movie "Presto Changeo" was really really good. It reminded me of Jack Jack Attack.

| Squirrel Mincer | I watched the HD trailer of this on the Apple site. Like Punisher Bass said the animation looked great, but I always get the feeling that Pixar films are always for kids. When I saw cars the cinema was full of screaming kids, made me feel like the old bloke who goes and plays in kids sandpits (this might not happen). Anyone who hasn't had the chance to watch it, trailer is here, and available in 1080p! |

The first half is great and it all kind of falls apart during the second half. Once the humans come into the picture things go downhill. The reason the first part works so well I think is because it's much like most Pixar shorts with little to no dialog, they let actions speak louder than words. It's endearing watching these innocent little robots just do their own thing. If the second half was more like the first, then I would have called this the best movie they've done yet.

I literally got to sit in front of "what's that?", "is that Wall*E?", etc. etc. etc. for the whole fucking movie. God I hate kids.

| Just like everything Pixar does, I'll go see Wall-E as soon as I can. Unfortunately, I live in Europe, so that'll be September... | |

Rep Power: 15 ![]() | really? i live in Switzerland and we get it at the end of July. We are usually some of the last to get movies in Europe. Most of the time the DVD is out in the UK just a month or so after it shows in the cinema here. Release dates here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0910970/releaseinfo |

| Previously known as ssnapier | Saw it last night... I could have done without the not so subtle "save 'da earf" messages, but overall it was pretty decent.

| Square with a title | no, Happy Feet coulda done without all that. I think this was done in a more humorously ironic way. Sort of like the Daily Show
