yeah, that was a coolio episode. I'm skeptical of A1 mainly because of quality of drivers as Plato was explaining.
And if you don't own GT4 with the wheel GET IT!!! the cars feel really real, i've driven a few of them like the STIs and the Miatas and the BMW 1970s 2002 (thats a fun car) and... hell they feel real. Only thing i wish, is if they got more European circuits like SPA!!! now that would be a track to drive

This fifth gear episode is different. I mean The music is much better, esp. A1 Gran Prix part. Take a A class to compare with a SL is interesting...use wide angle, feels like a hiphop mtv. I can feel the "beat". overall improved a lot. i can't find a "track time" part, but it's smooth. well done.
longing to see the coming episode, the fastest car club, will the 19 yr old crack 200mph?

I think I prefer the first two episodes more, but it was cool seeing them cover GT4.

Dubai track looks nice, but what will they do about all that sand? looked nasty

Dubai looks amazing. Has anyone on the board been there?

I hope Canada gets a decent driver for A1 GP. It definately has potential.

I wish I could have seen Tiff do a little more driving in GT4.

Good episode. 8)

That was a pretty decent ep, just wish it was longer.
D/L speeds are great it took about 20 mins to get the ep. I left it to seed overnight and when I checked it when I got up I had a share ratio of over 9 and had uploaded 1.6GB images/smilies/eek.gif

This is by far the best 5th Gear episode in a long time. The production values are increasing and they're catching Top Gear with presentations like this. The music, the camera work, and I've just gotta say what brilliant quality VUK is ripping these in, it's truly top work!

Anyway, been seeding since release on 100mbps, so all should be pretty quick. I'm REALLY looking forward to the TVR test next week! images/smilies/thumbsup.gif Given the chance, I'm gonna buy me a Tuscan S.

PS, STILL no mention of that Lotus...

hehe.

been to dubai.... its a strange place.... looks soulless though. basically nothing there is older than 30-40 years. (even the historical museam). the arabs got heaps of money that is for sure and yes they flaunt it with funky cars and buildings, the best bieng man made islands of the shape of a palm tree and another set made to look the the continents of the earth.... and yes if u got the money u can buy ur own country.

i got more funny bits about them but i will leave them till later.

I'm in Brisbane too on Bigpond Cable. I normally only see the same speed you mentioned but today I got the episode the minute it went onto the main page so I'd say the big guns were seeding and not many people were downloading so my speed was through the roof. Don't forget that broadband in Australia is crap with our ADSL and Cable limited to 1.5Mb/s at the most. Adsl2 is being rolled out now though by other ISPs with their own lines and not Telstras crap limited lines.

While I love the look of Dubai. Once they said that the Beckhams were moving into the palm tree place and that Rod Stewart bought the England Island I immediately didn't want to ever go near the place. images/smilies/thumbdown.gif

Great quality rip. images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Camera lens in the Merc review kinda spoilt it which is a pity, Tiff driving GT4 was fun and the A1 car looks good. Hopefully it should make a good series.
