Like cruzz said, change upload settings to only 2-5 uploads while you are downloading. It really does help a lot with downloading speeds! Just started downloading about 1 minute ago and it is going at 75kp/s and climbing!

Tiff needed to outfit that Range Rover with some offroad tires if he really wanted it to be a fair competition. I understand the need to test a car in it's stock trim, but any serious off-roader will buy dedicated off road tires for their car.

Dude that owns the MC12 is crazy. It's cool he drives his super car. But he was really just asking for trouble with the snow and winter weather. But, he can afford the repairs, and he did have a good time, so more power to him.

Sure, lowering your upload would help a download...if the numbers weren't as low as andrewcbho's are. There's something else going on if his total transfer rate is only 10. I was downloading at 35, and I unplugged all uploading. Now it's topping out at 43. The first episode from this season, I was cruising at over 200. I'm using the same software, and I haven't changed a single setting. *shrugs* Oh well...

{edit} *sigh* I should just shut up. As soon as I hit "send" it dropped to 15, and is now struggling to hit 20... images/smilies/censored.gif

Don't completely shut off uploading as bittorrent uses ul/dl ratios, so to speak, if you don't upload it will eventually stop, so yeah, upload to the extent of your connection. images/smilies/smile.gif

Downloading at 200kb/s all the way to the deep south of the USA. Thanks guys, I really appreciate this stuff (as do my motoring pals). Aside from Lost and Arrested Development, our TV kinda blows.

Actually I'm uploading now - only 1kb/s though. Guess everyone else already has it.

Your download speed is probably affected by heavyweight seeders we have around here.

Yeah it was good that he is like that, but I wouldn't have driven my car, or any car at all actually, in those conditions on the race track. Even on the road there has to be a greater chance of accident. If I had a supercar I would definately want to drive it whenever I could and have some fun, that is what it is for, but I also wouldn't want to take any unneccesary risks.

The opposite of Frank Mountain is the guy at the start of my street who owns a Diablo. I have only ever seen it on the road twice in the 5 years I have lived here. Most of the time it sits in the garage images/smilies/sad.gif
