Car: 1994 Chevy Caprice Rep Power: 0 ![]() | The "Massive" H3? I have to remember this is a British show, but still! It's not any bigger than a Land Rover, and the Toyota Land Cruiser is gargantuan compared to it! Absurd! |

Rep Power: 49 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've really enjoyed this series, Fifth Gear gone done good. The episode was solid, as well - I quite like the fact that the Hummer got a kicking for being pretty crap, the shootout was fun, and the Geneva show was good, too - although the 'Honda Clarity FCX is the only non-diesel or petrol car' statement was a lie, as I'm fairly sure there were some 'leccy only cars there.

| I really liked that epp, the shoot out was really good, I love both of those cars, I have to say I think I'd have the Focus, that wing on the Cossie is just too much. Geneva bit was good, watching Johnny get man-handled by someone from Tata was funny. Not surprised about the H3, its an SUV for carrying middle-class but slightly vulgar families around, not for driving up a welsh mountain. Plus it looks awful

| That was a very nice episode... Escort Cosworth X Focus RS was a nice endure Regarding the H3 review, why not tying the stretcher up on the roof? ![]()

Car: Its new and the company pay for it! Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Nice epp and good series, the H3 is used by the rescue team knowing if they need stretcher 'and presumably that happens often enough' that they have to walk back! Think they would have something to accommodate that situation, hat's off to them for volunteering though! The STI is a little lame and soft by history standards or maybe it just comes across that way, Toyota are boring. no denying their success though. Until next season G |

| One of the better episodes of this series, a good ending I thought. Mini v. Clio test was very good, informative and exciting. Not sure if it was scripted, but Plato should have missed that second cone. Hummer H3 got the attention it deserved, it's cramped and a bit archaic compared to a Land Rover. The review of the Impreza STi pretty much summed up my perceptions of the direction Subaru is going in. Making softer more tame cars, albeit quite fast ones in this case.

Car: Nissan Pathfinder, Chevrolet Monza, Ninja 600 Rep Power: 20 ![]() | Great ep and a fitting end to what, IMO, was a much better series than the last and which stands up well on its own merits as a very good "car show". Well done to Tiff and the gang. That shootout was my perfect garage! OMG I still want an Escort Cosworth!! (I remember in the 90's there as a company importing them into the States). The new Fiesta and Scirocco look really smart. And Ford Europe's cars are always really well-built. We get the Fiesta ST and Focus ST here, but, sadly, the new Mondeo will not be coming as we get the Fusion (not a bad car, but not on par with its European counterpart). If Ford want to make a big profit worldwide, the plants in the US should just make pick-ups, the Mustang and big SUVs, what they are good at, and import all their cars from Europe. I was surprised to see the Euro Lancer (same as the one we get here), comes with leather, heated seats and diesel engines?? Only the 2.0 liter here so far, but we get the paddle-shift gearbox, although I have heard that the 2.0 is a bit pthetic, so we'll have to wait for the 2.4 liter Ralliart version or, if rich enough, the Evo X. And the race at the end was really funny, really made me laugh watching Jason's face! |

| Johnny has Toyota bang on. Where is their spirit? I love that Tata Nano guy or what ever the hell the car was called. It sure looks like a crap car. The STI and shootout were a bit meh. Not a bad episode I guess

Rep Power: 26 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Very good ep, one of the best of this season. Cosworth vs RS, I knew the Cosworth is going to win. You just can't beat AWD. If the RS has AWD it might've been much closer. But man, this really shows the small hot hatch segment is stagnent, a car 10 years older beating a brand new model. Mazda 6 vs Lancer. I wish we get that Mazda6 over here, our 6 is still running on the previous gen chassis. For a daily driver, I would probably agree with them a pic the 6. STi. I knew Tiff wouldn't like it, and I think he's right. All these electronic controls are just gimmicks, Subaru needs to just short out the chassis and make the handling better through the suspension tuning and design instead of electronics. Johnny's report at Geneva is pretty cool. I wouldn't mind seeing the Ford Fiesta and the VW Sirrocco being sold here, they are pretty cool cars. And LOL on the Tata Nano, "don't push it or we'll need to reapir it again", the quality is that bad? lol. Clio Cup vs JCW Mini. I would pick the Clio Cup too, if it's available here. Maybe Nissan can make a similar version for their Versa. Strip it down, lower it a bit, wider wheels, and give it the Sentra SE-R's 180hp 2.5L engine, then we can have a car that's as fun as the Clio Cup in the US. This ep was great, all the segments were good, definitely deserve a 9. But man, this is the last ep of the season, hopefully the NBC Gear will start soon. I need my motoring show fix. ![]()

They bash the H3 for having rear leafs, but at least it has IFS. The Defender really is an archaic design, not that there is anything wrong with that. The interior space argument was kind of dumb. They didn't even need to test the car to know that the inside is smaller then a Defender. All they need is a brochure or a visit to the Hummer website to find that out.
