Good episode.
I'm getting annoyed with the music overlap of engines. |

Pretty decent episode. Only one "celebrity" and he was a professional racer.
Do they sell the Rubicon Wrangler in Europe? I know they said only 1000 Wranglers will hit the UK, but I'm curious. A diesel Wrangler would kick ass over here, but I wonder how much better the Rubicon would do up that steep ass hill. Oh, and that army guy was kinda funny. There is no way he talks like that in real life. Unless it impresses the British ladies...

Yeah, that army guy was over the top. I was like "Is he for serious?"

Pretty good ep. The Scirocco review was good. I'm surprised in a hot hatch like that you still can't turn off the ESP completely. The army guy is pretty funny in the Wrangler review. They should've tested the 3.7L V6 version though, more low end torque will probably help climbing that hill. Plato's drift lesson with the moto GP guy was pretty cool, I don't mind a celeb segment like that. Overall 8/10.

Quite good episode....aparantely the secret with fifth gear it's not to have big expectations for a specific episode. Only that army guy was kinda annoying.
Is it just me or there are too much porsches lately? |

The army guy was a knob.
The Scirocco / Kite Guy race smacked at TG copy and i could have easily lived without that. The "Clean Fuel" segment was a bit of a waste of time too but at least goes to raise more awareness. Overall i think this was one of if not THE weakest episodes of the season. 5/10

I was wondering why did took the sport Wrangler and not the Rubicon. Anyway, that army guy was so fucking annoying. He was also on the Gadget Show testing survival gadgets.
Tiff is getting annoying as he seems way to full of himself. Vicki was annoying in the last series but she seems great now. Toms review was awesome! Good episode overall. The new track is really doing good things for Fifth Gear. This series reminds me of the older seasons of Top Gear.

Was a pretty meh episode for me. If anything they are trying to put too much in to the 44 mins, lots of small segments, and some (like the Lotus) could be binned.

Can't believe I'm the first to say it ... but that Porsche can't be a 1997. It has to be 1999+, since the 996 wasn't introduced before that.
Jeep segment was incredibly disapointing ... lame tests. Army guy was hilarious. Unless he was being serious ... hahaha Drag racing was sloooooooooow. 16 seconds for a 1/4 mile? LMAO! Pretty disapointing overall, though. Last edited by Z0RR0; September 17th, 2008 at 5:21 AM. |
