- Diesel shootout was okey.
- Jonny was good, but I dunno about the cars he suggested. - The massage thing was the worst, worst, worst, worst, worst thing on Fifth Gear, ever. - Kia Soul review was good but what's up with being so short? - Discount on new cars felt really in-with-the-times, good. - Fiesta v Ibiza...was...well...uhm... - Didn't watch the entire chip fat segment, Bill Bailey rocks but couldn't care less about the rest. - Gallardo in snow \o/ "Kermit the Lambo" ![]() The show is still cursed by the huge amount of short films. pretty much an average fifth gear episode, nothing amazing nothing bad. i only watch it because there's no top gear anyways and i still need my weekly dose of car programming, so i can't really complain. i suppose the same thing applies to the bloke two posts up as well, since if you read his review of this episode you'd wonder why he keeps watching.

I wish they would stop trying to copy Top Gear, it doesnt work and they are least educational or entertaining while trying to.
Much better ep that last week BTW. The Mini thing was the first time the new guy proved himself useful Lamborghini review proved useless other than to show off the fact that their former racing driver presenter can drive and the car had a good chassis, which went without saying. Why did they do it? The Seat Ibiza and the Kia Soul reviews were nice (Nothing bad, agree with his opinion) Johnny was informative as usual, he can be funny while being himself. That said, i want TG back! |

That was one of the last things said in the video about Tiff's bravery.

The sign off was a surprise by Tom. Pretty funny they had the guts to do it though.
Overall the episode was good entertainment. |

^Nah, I think it's more like they're poking fun of the Stig being revealed...that's is if the show was live today.

I gave it a 9. I really liked Fifth Gear this week. The chip fat bit was great!

Didn't need to see the Apple logo every 2 seconds.
ok show besides the massages. They need to get back to a more informative show and lose the short segments. The 99 min. contest information is annoying too. |

Actually, I think maybe it's a hint that the one driving the corvette in the Top Gear Fiesta segment was Tiff.
If you look, they had the fiesta in this show, and tom did something very similar to Jeremy's review structure wise (Zeebra head/Toilet rolls -> Parking -> driving feel). The lambo was the same color as the top gear fiesta and while Tiff was thrashing about even the same music was playing as when the vette was chasing the fiesta in the shopping mall. The way the lambo recklessly slid about at the hands of Tiff did remind me a lot of the vette wagging its tail in the mall. XD It seems like this whole episode is poking fun at Top Gear by subtly mimicking it. It was really fun to watch. As someone living in Canada, I really loved the snow driving segment, since that's what people living here have to deal with everyday after a fresh snowfall during the winter, and yes, you do not want your car to crash into a snow bank, I've learned that the hard way. Pretty good ep. Much better than last weeks, the celeb segment was bearable.
The TT vs 1-series was pretty good, the 123D won even in the wet, so that was impressive. Fiesta vs Ibiza, that was alright, at least it gave a clear conclusion unlike last weeks segments. Kia Soul, very good. I agree with Tom on this one, the car needs to be more expensive. Not just charge more but offer a more powerful engine intead. They should've offered the (USDM) Optima's 2.4L engine for it. With that engine it would compete pretty well with the xB (if they have that in UK). Gallardo in the snow. That was some great driving, not much new, but I enjoyed it. The Gallardo LP560 is a great looking car. 8/10.

Thankfully, better than last week.
Diesel shoot out was good, as was the Fiesta vs Ibiza test. In fact enjoyed most of the show. Was pissed off with the Shiatsu bit .. the new bloke (Tim?) worked himself up into a freakin tizz for no good reason ... making the test (completely) worthless and pointless ... only a certified hysterical neurotic could increase their heart rate to over 150/min whilst sitting in a massage chair. ![]() No "dog fight" = WIN |
