#1 - Monster trucks = pointless *yawn*
#2 - Megane = Don't see how paintball fits with safety *yawn**yawn*
#3 - Diesel = a few flaws with the test (IMO it shud be using 3 different C5 to give a more fair review on the diesel)
#4 - 17yr old rally boy - it was ok..but can't stand vicki's laugh
#5 - BMW 7 series - it was ok...not bad but not great
#6 - Voice recognition - that was good..especially with the "movie trailer guy"
#7 - Race of champions - nice...but im curious to noe why hamilton din represent britain instead...

Overall....i gave it a 4...

Other than the ROC coverage and the rally kid vs Vicki, the ep was pretty boring. 7/10.

I liked it. This season is doing pretty well.

There aren't any annoying hosts like that tool from two seasons ago.

I liked the ROC coverage. The VO guy was funny. Vicki's challenge was fun. The only thing a little lame was Tiff and Jason at the beginning and that wasn't their fault.

6 -Only because it had Schumacher in it.
LOL at Plato trying to strike up a conversation, they obviously dont know each other well.
(JC managed to get Schumacher to drive him around while still world champion.)

Even the Jonny and the Tom segments were boring.
Tim Shaw was good.
Butler-Henderson was average.
Monster Trucks were Boring.

C- Could do better

Best ep of the season so far!

Loved pretty much all the segments, especially the ROC bit.

- Monster trucks = pointless
- Megane review didn't need the paintball. It could've been atleast 2 or 3 minutes longer just doing 'normal' review stuff.
- Diesel segment was okey but didn't explain a lot.
- I skipped the rally bit. Just make all the other bits longer and scrap films like these, PLEASE!
- BMW 7-series review was okey but again, short. Could've done more about the iDrive.
- Voice recognition was quite funny and INFORMATIVE - HURRAY. Red ftw. images/smilies/lol.gif
- RoC was okey aswell.

If they had ditched the monster truck and rally film and extended the other bits it would've been good. Shame they didn't.

Well, I liked it a lot. Nice mix of stuff - I'd love to win the P1.

Voice recognition was nice and the idrive test was good though I must say the overall test seemed way too hasty. Im sure theres much more to the 7 series than what Tom quickly put together.
The rally bit was good in essence but the camera work was appaling. I think this is the first time my head started to hurt. Wtf really, I dont think ive seen one clear shot of a nice drift in the whole segment. I really wanted to see how the kid takes the corners.

The Sports Personality of the Year awards were on that night, and they would clash with the event.
From the coverage I've seen, he's booked himself a place for next year, and hopefully the awards won't be at the same time

I actually liked it, it was pretty good had some good segments. I was surprised by voice recognition though, I've never seen it work that good - can I put that system into Vista? lol

I thought it was a good ep - mix of stuff, the monster truck was a little meh, but it looked to put Plato and Tiff out of their comfort zone, especially as there seemed to be as much mud inside the cabin as outside images/smilies/smile.gif

The paintball thing has been done a few times between TG and FG, but I still liked Jonny's review.

That Champions racing looks like it'd be awesome to go to.

Meh!

Monster trucks. Why? Pointless and incomplete.
Paintballing the new Renault Megane. What an idiotic road test.
Race of Champions. Was OK as was the Rally segment.
7-series, voice recognition, Audi Q5, diesel comparison segments were worthwhile.

Overall, a pretty forgetable episode (even by Fifth Gear standards). images/smilies/sad.gif

I think its the worst episode of the 4 so far. Some of the segments were so incredibly lame.

The Race of Champions was fun and I really liked the BMW 7 bit with Tom.

The Audi Q5 bit was boring as is the real thing so I thought Tom did the best he could with the car.

I skipped past the paintball crap. Stupid shit anyway. Johnny needs better assignments.

The rally segment was good, not great.

9/10 since I really liked the RoC.

Really enjoyed that one. The iDrive thing completely exonerated the points I made in my uni assignment on the subject last term! Nice job on the voice recognition thing too, and the Race of Champions item made me even more miffed that I couldn't make it. This series is shaping up nicely, for me anyway images/smilies/smile.gif

Pretty enjoyable overall... I am really getting more and more irked by Tim Shaw though.

If they canned him, and extended all the other bits by a minute or two each, this show would be as good as it has ever been. The fuel segment was done previously on FG by Jon Bentley, and the results were the exact same this time around (more expensive cars get more out of expensive fuels).

The race at the end with Plato seemed really short though... if they are that pressed for time they might as well save it for another episode, because there wasn't much to enjoy there.
