Quite good. I would have liked to have a bit more of Tiff in the LFA and Jason in the Audi/Merc, I feel like I didn't get enough out of them. I also really enjoyed Jonny's Volvo crash test bit but again, it could have been a little longer. I wasn't really sure about Vicki in the BMW. Nothing against Vicki, but I just felt the whole test wasn't really worth it, it would have been better as a 'web tv' episode and give the other 3 segments more time. That said, it was a thoroughly enjoyable half hour once again.

This season of 5th gear is .so far, the best ever and better than the current Top Gear.
Praise the Lawd Tim is out !
Jason's watch is huge,it must be slowing the cars down.
Seeing the yellow tube in the middle of the Volvo I first thought it was a rear wheel drive shaft but it was the exhaust...the horror!
"L.A.S.E.R." technology, just like Dr.Evil
future cars will drive like bats, with sonar...and other aids..which means the future driver will be just a passenger, someone with absolutely no
skills. I just hope cars like Lotus Exige will still be around for the people who do enjoy driving and are quite good at it.
Cheers to the future!
Audi RS6 moves like a tank, unstoppable , gives the sensation you could put a thousand ton cast iron block in front of it and it would just blast through it.Nice!
P.S.:I envy you brits for having the opportunity to win such great prices as those offered by 5th gear...damn!
P.P.S.: Dear 5th, so called Gear, why don't you make this an international contest? so I would have a chance to win a Nissan 350Z or a Renault Clio Williams...

Rather good episode, me thinks.
Thank god they put Tiff in that LF-A but still, I wanted more noise (really love that V10).
Didnt actually care too much about JP/VBH, German saloons aren't for me. And VBH whining about windy conditions was a bit too boring.
Johnny at the Volvo R&D-center was really intresting to watch.
Yeah, big watches seem to be quite "in" nowadays. Looks ridiculous everytime. But at least he doesn't wear one on each arm like a certain Diego M.
On the ep itself: Good one, still feels a bit rushed, but not as bad as the first eps of the season. I would like to have more information on things than this scratching the surface they do.
I've decided that I need a BMW 5er in my life. And the Lexus LF-A is one of my favourites too. Both for the same reason: I want the tech, even if destracts from the actual driving.
Yes - entertaining, er yes.
Not bad at all. I'm still getting used to the new 30 minute format, but this series of Fifth Gear is much better than the last few. The segments still feel rushed and short though. But I love all those cool gadgets on the BMW, despite what Vicki says. The Lexus LF-A also greatly appeals to my inner tech head as well, even if the closest I'll ever get to it is in GT 5. (At least I think it's in GT5)..

For the most part the segment lengths are fine. If you watch some of the older 30 min format episodes, it's about the same. Tiff's review of the LFA is good. In the track footage it really showed how twitchy that car is, it should be fun on the track, but I would be afraid to turn of the stability control on the street. RS6 vs E63 AMG, if it's on a dry track, it should be much closer, AWD is king in the wet. The crash segment is not bad, but it feels like a Volvo commercial.
Another Great Episode. Tiff's Lexus test and Jonny's Volvo crash test were the best segments of the programme.

Another great episode. This series is one of the best.
fantastic episode all around!
Best one of the bunch, so far, but I wonder if they should eliminate one segment to give the others more than just a few moments of time.
Remember that, compared to the old format, there are no stupid studio/cafe/loft/lounge segments with Tiff fumbling at a keyboard, or that idiot Soccer guy talking about how he love stripes...so each segment might get an extra minute or two, already.

This series of 5th gear has been excellent - not a dud segment thus far.
I have just two gripes, I wish the segments were slightly longer and the producers stop cutting out a lot of the best footage that finds its way onto the 5th Gear Youtube channel - like Tiff scaring Jason witless in the 911 Turbo from several episodes ago.
Cheers.
LFA - good one, shows the possibilities of the car and it's clear that Tiff is not affraid to use them
5er - interesting.... advertisement for the new beemer...
Shootout - interesting to hear someone to say aloud, that apart from the engine, RS6 is not a supercarYou know, when you mount the engine in front of the front axle... you cannot have nimbleness
Volvo bit - I am a Volvoniac myself, but this segment was just an advertisement like the beemer, which is a shame in the 30 mins TV show. You can see precisely the same thing on the Volvo promotional videos... sorry, but not interested at all. I understand that you need to save money, when you are in trouble, but this way leads to TV Show that is becoming completely uninteresting.
I liked the tests like Laguna vs. the tree; Volvo 940 vs. Modus; etc. I like tributes to interesting cars, I like unbiased reviews of cars. I don't like advertisements without being statet as such...
