I think that by "sportscar" they meant the small, open-roof cars that relate to the british tradition of Triumph, old Mg's, etc..

In that terms, the Noble doesn't fit into that category. (Well, neither the Radical does, but that's just a unique car..)

It isn't really. They make a whole bunch of track day cars in the UK. The Westfield XTR² and Ariel Atom come to mind, but there are more. They just didn't have time for more categories.

I was thinking of the Westfield, too.. If they had a Trackdays Car category, both the Radical and the Noble would have fitted..
