better than last weeks!! the SLR review was really nice, seeing the factory and getting a tour of the car and features was nice, i almost felt like i was there with tiff.

There's also a TG ep where the star is talking about his/her experience with a car, and says "so I shift into 5th gear.." (or something like that) and Jeremy goes "I prefer Top Gear, myself" and the crowd laughs images/smilies/lol.gif

Subtitles often dont catch up on small things like that. I think its obvious he said "stig".. o well :P

I have to think it's "stig" as well. I mean, if your job is just to type subtitles all day, and you don't watch Top Gear, you're gonna think he meant Stick...

i think we can all agree that he said "Stig". its clear as day. channel 5 would be getting heaps of emails regarding that aye. gee, Tiff shouldnt be messin around like that. he should know better images/smilies/eek.gif

Thanks for sharing the episode. I didn't like the SLR that much, it's too luxury. Tiff's review kinda supports that. Don't get me wrong I would love to have an SLR. But if it's my money, I would spend the $400k (USD) to buy a Carrera GT or 2 Ford GT.

I pretty much agree to you awdrifter. I don´t really get what they tryed reaching for when they bulit the car. To make such an machine and then make it (quote richard hammond) hevyer then the moon.

After the SLR part was finished and the F1 did 2 turnes before the eopisode was over. I was stunned over how light it looked. Sorry merc/maclaren, but how cool it might seem, I cant see your point with this car.

What's that song played from 0:32 to 1:20? It goes like "I am the raindrop cloud..." And what about 9:16 to 9:40? It was used in Top Gear's DB9 vs. Eurostar race as well. And 19:10 to 19:22? It's dramatic classical music.

Well, I'm at my parent's place right now so I'm away from my music collection, but the first song (0:32-1:20) is Unkle - Reign (I'm about 90% sure).

I have no clue about the other two though. images/smilies/sad.gif

I'll keep my ears open for them though. images/smilies/wink.gif

Edit: I was just thinking, that second song (9:16-9:40) sounds a lot like Thievery Corporation. It could quite possibly be them, so I'll have a quick flip through my collection of their albums when I get back home. images/smilies/smile.gif
