Quote:
In this week’s edition of Five’s motoring show, Tiff Needell tests the new Alfa Romeo 159, Jonny Smith tests the new Citroën Picasso in a very artistic fashion, Tom Ford drives the brand-new Land Rover Freelander to a remote spot, and Tim Lovejoy quizzes Orson about classic cars.

On tonight’s show Tiff tests the new Alfa Romeo 159. He decides to find out whether it is the most beautiful car in the world by canvassing the opinions of a bevy of supermodels.

Jonny, meanwhile, is testing the new Citroën Picasso. In tribute to the car’s namesake, he uses it to draw a giant recreation of a famous Picasso picture on the beach at Weston-Super-Mare.

Also this week, Tom drives the brand-new Land Rover Freelander to the most remote school in Britain. Just 15 pupils attend Forest of Teesdale Primary School in County Durham, which is in the middle of nowhere. Tom’s challenge is to find out if the new Freelander’s array of off-road technology will get him through the rough terrain before the school bell sounds.

Finally, Tim Lovejoy chats to the band Orson about their love of classic cars and challenges them to Fifth Gear’s Highway Code Quiz.
I genuinly can't wait to hear Tiff's opinion on the Alfa 159 when it comes to the driving. Most reviews I've read have stated that this is an Alfa that actually drives quite well.

My neighbours are looks at a 2.5 JTS in red images/smilies/love.gif

Tom's bit should be good but the rest with that prick Jonny and that other prick Tim will be crap images/smilies/thumbdown.gif

- Wolfgang Bernhard, Chief Operating Officer, Chrysler Group talking about the Dodge Viper SRT-10

... I ask Herb Helbig, vehicle synthesis manager for SRT and a member of the original Team Viper development group since day one, if they'd ever thought of adding traction control. "It comes with two," he says, pointing at my feet. "Learn to use them." Got it.

Tiff's and Tom's pieces sound good as always.

I also enjoyed not reading anything about Vicki. images/smilies/yes.gif
