Quote:
Tiff Needell gives some tips on taking your own car to a track day. Tom Ford drives a 4x4 that is 'greener' than a Mini: the Honda CR-V. Vicki Butler-Henderson tests a 15-year-old Daihatsu Charade to destruction. And Jonny Smith enters a 0-60 competition in the UK's slowest-accelerating car.

It's a cruel fact but buy a new car unwisely and your £20,000 investment could be worth less than £5,000 just three years later. However if you're savvy you might be able to play the depreciation game to your advantage. Jon Bentley reveals the best and worst depreciating vehicles as well as the car that loses over £300 per week! He gives us some invaluable advice about cars you never knew you could afford.

Tim spends the day with the world's greatest precision driver, Russ Swift, and learns how to do the incredible handbrake turn parking stunt, slotting in to a gap not much longer than the car. After several crash-tastic attempts, and a severe case of whiplash, Tim actually gets it right - so Russ cranks up the difficulty and teaches him to do an even harder, even more dangerous stunt.

Many people dream of going on their own track day. It's the opportunity to throw a car around the tarmac and push themselves and their cars to the limit, without fear of oncoming traffic or speeding fines. Now Tiff Needell provides the definitive guide - demonstrating how to prepare the car and then get the best out of it.

Honda has just launched an all-new version of their popular 4x4, the CR-V. But this is a 4x4 with a difference, because Honda claim it's not going to destroy the planet. This car comes with a letter stating that it's even greener than a Mini Cooper S. Tom Ford presents the car, and all-important piece of paper, to a few anti 4x4 activists - can he persuade them that big is finally beautiful?

Jonny Smith enters a 0-60 competition in the UK's slowest accelerating production car - an 800cc Chevrolet Matiz automatic. This little crawler has just 50bhp and a top speed of only 84mph. Clearly he's not going to win, but that doesn't matter because he's got a challenge of his own. Can he beat the manufacturer's own 0-60 figure of 22 seconds?

Vicki Butler-Henderson tests a 15 year old Daihatsu Charade to destruction. Earlier this year a father and son duo won the 8,000 mile Mongol Rally in a 15 year old Daihatsu Charade, which they had paid just £150 for. Vicki finds out if it really is the toughest little car in the world, by taking the car to the Sweet Lamb rally complex in Wales, the home of professional rally team testing. Our Charade faces the tough challenges of tarmac, gravel, forest tracks, and hills...
For those who thought the Audi S3 was in the last ep - it's in this ep. It's the paragraph regarding Tiff + trackdays. And ahpadt - it's blue not white....
