Last ep of the season!

There are more than 11,000 stretch limousines on UK roads, but not one of them has ever been crash tested... until now. Fifth Gear takes a look at the structural integrity of these enormous vehicles, and explores how safe the contents and occupants would be in a high-speed crash. Revellers rarely use the seatbelts in the back of limos, so what would happen in a collision? The results are spectacular, and are sure to make viewers think twice when planning a party.

Meanwhile, Tiff and Jason are joined by four car-mad cast members from ‘Hollyoaks’. Jessica Fox (Nancy), Gemma Bissix (Clare), Ricky Whittle (Calvin) and Kevin Sacre (Jake) receive some expert tuition from Fifth Gear’s resident racing drivers, before battling it out on the track in a series of high-speed challenges.

Away from the track, Jonny Smith heads out under the cover of darkness to secretly repair the potholes that local councils refuse to make good. Damage from driving through potholes costs British motorists millions of pounds each year, so Jonny reveals which councils are worst at keeping their roads in good condition, and explains how to proceed if you damage a wheel or suspension on an offending road.

Elsewhere, Tiff Needell signs the relevant waiver schemes and puts two rental cars – a Vauxhall Astra and a Ford Focus – head to head on the track. Which car will be quickest?

Also this week, Vicki Butler-Henderson tests the latest version of one of the greatest coupes of our time – the Nissan 350Z.

But the whole point of a limo is to cruise around town at slow speeds, so how is a high speed crash even relevant?

they should test the 8 wheeler stretched hummer we have roaming around here.... and the porsche cayenne turbo stretch i saw the other day.

and..... the stretched town car with the baddly done Rolls Royce Phantom front and rear end conversions. it looks totally daft. the towncar isnt as thick set as the phantom so the conversion looks like they got a phantom front did 0.75x copy and then squshed it a little to give it a wide aspect....whats more the sides of the car are left untouched. so you have the smooth front and rear quarters of the phant...and then sharp rectangular creases of the town car.

seems it will be a poor ending of the season, nothing about cars really and why giving Tiff a bunch of rental cars???? when he could have been testing something faster and better instead.. in the last episode I was looking forward to the gt3 rs all episode to find that it was like 2 minutes long... what a let down
350z was already tested on both 5G and TG... what about new Fiat Bravo, A5...?

yeah, seems like a let-down for sure, just like that dang gt3rs tiff segment from last episode. Grrr, A/S5 or something, a 350Z? boring.... and the rentals cars, wtf? why not a gallardo superleggera?

well the new M3 is coming in Fall, I think its first public appearance should be the Frankfurt Autoshow in September/October..
