If I recall it correctly, D-Motor's comment about the Ariel Atom was (despite that it's a fantastic car): When you give this machine to an unexperienced driver, he'll probably kill himself within seconds.

I mean, it's just too much power, the acceleration is too great for an unexperienced driver. Most people have never driven a car with 0-60 acceleration under 5 or 6 seconds, much less 3! I mean, damn, that's faster than Zonda F...

17/8/07 - UPDATED LISTING:

Quote:
Tiff Needell kicks off the series in style with an examination of the fastest car in the world – the Bugatti Veyron. As well as a breathtaking road test on public streets, Tiff takes the Veyron to a circuit for the first ever televised track test of this £890,000 beast. We know it can do 253mph in a straight line, but how well does it handle? Tiff intends to reveal all. He also manages to steal a few moments inside the French château where the car is assembled. Walking amongst the vehicles under construction, he sees some of the weird and wonderful colour combinations ordered by wealthy customers; discovers why some people have decided to buy two Veyrons; and learns the secrets of the car that every owner should know...
So a roadtest, a tracktest and a look at the workshop. Brilliant! One of the best Fifth Gear reviews I remember was Tiff's review of the SLR when he did a road and track test along with a look at the factory. Hopefully this will be as good!

... I ask Herb Helbig, vehicle synthesis manager for SRT and a member of the original Team Viper development group since day one, if they'd ever thought of adding traction control. "It comes with two," he says, pointing at my feet. "Learn to use them." Got it.

This is going to be an awsome season! I cant wait for Tiff in the Veyron, and I always look forward to Tom Ford and Johnny Smith reviews. I hope Vicki can make the S5 VS 335i interesting. The last few segments she has done have been IMO terrible.

This is a bit offtopic, but does anyone know of a site where I can watch streaming Fifth Gear episodes? I'd like to get this episode but the college I am at does not allow torrents to be downloaded.
