I didn't know they had Family Guy in Australia.![]()
wheres the episode

I think they are waiting for the re-run, then vipers got to do the usual; upload, torrent & release. This has got to be the longest release delay..
yeh, i didn't get to see the ferrari last night ;/

I think I've seen longer... it was when VUK's antenna screwed upThis has got to be the longest release delay..
I agree its no Ferrari but, listen to your own advice and keep the comparisons realistic, the Monaro aint a shitty car my man, and comparing it to some stinkers like the Camaro or SVT is insulting.Originally Posted by Renesis

All in all if I could buy a Fezza I would but for more realistic thrills and a guaranteed smile on my face, give me Aussie muscle
the networks tried it and noone got it, too in love with the Simpsons, so we had to prevail with imported DVDs (god bless the internet!)Originally Posted by f1freak

Just wish theyd show Top & Fifth Gear down here

They do show the crappy half-hour BBC World TG eps but they are all like one season old. they show FG as well and they are just as old..
Oh yeah and...Holden/HSV's doesnt even compare to those awefull comaro's-hunks o' junk i tell ya![]()
Why all the hate toward the Camaro? It was an American muscle car... big engine solid rear but thats what kept the price down. My loaded Z28 in 1994 cost $17k US out the door. In their last year they were $23k which was still serious bang for the buck ($27 for the SS). The sheer amount of parts in the aftermarket meant they were cheap. The LT1 was the easiest to tune since GM only restricted air flow and computer. Spend a couple grand on headers, a cat back, intake, BBK throttle body and tweak the computer and you could see 350hp easy. Do the same to the LS1 plus add cams and you saw 400hp..... it wasnt a bad car at all.
Now that being said if you could walk into a showroom and see a Camaro today I would buy the GTO over it in a second because it is a better car. Its also nice to see GM drop the Corvette protection plan and let Pontiac release the 400hp 6.0L. The Corvette was the main reason the TA and Z28 never had more hp. To be honest Im surprised that I havent see the GTO on the streets like I have the new craptastic Mustang. In fact Ive yet to see one GTO... 5.7L or 6.0L. I saw 4 Mustangs yesterday alone. They must have all been the kid you saw riding the little bus to school because seriously... how could you buy a Mustang over this.....

It's a fantastic car, my brother had a prototype GTO with the next generation V8 in it (gen 4) which is even better than what they've got in them these days.
The only thing is I don't like that nose, despite being the same car the Monaro's front end is much nicer to look at
As for the Mustang.. gah, I can't imagine a more fitting peice of garbage.
I agree as well but thats the US version... the only version. Since we cant pick and choose that front end is better then no car at allOriginally Posted by Overheat
Besides the front, rear and wheels IMO were lucky GM didnt touch anything else on the car. I can only imagine what they would have done to it had they had more time![]()
Oh yes you could. VX220 Turbo.Originally Posted by magnum_pi

Well I would think the EVO and STI would qualify then.Originally Posted by Jostyrostelli

True, we can have them both in that class![]()
I'd still go for the STI than the Monaro, no matter how much I love it.

Bit of a price difference though.
I was actually considering the GTO (Monaro) before I bought the STI, but I wanted AWD.
At the time, it was more expensive than the STI as well![]()

We've actually done that once with my gf: one week's worth of groceries in the cart, took us nearly 20 minutes to fit it all in but it went in 8)
