well, as far as technology goes, it´s a far better car... but I don´t like it...

the first generation was a really interesting combination of rover and bmw thinking, but the new one is basically a (very) slightly better looking, FWD version of the 1 series...

all 1st generation mini owners say that, basically im fed up with their jealousness, things move on to the better guys, perhaps in the case of the mini there shouldn't be a 2nd generation but its here and its as great astonishing as the first so lets all cut the rubbish and be glad to drive such a car! images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I´m not jealous (why would I)... I´m just disappointed at what they´ve come up with...

I´m not gonna argue with you because somehow I really hated the attitude the classic mini drivers had when the first bmw mini came out, but if you ever get the chance, drive an R53, and you´ll know what I mean...
