Next Series of Fifth Gear airs in July

I was just grazing on the Fifth Gear website and i came across this:

Fifth Gear will return to our screens in July - and we promise to keep up the standard of work you lot have so obviously appreciated this series. We always listen to the feedback to make sure we keep refining and evolving the show, and judging by your kind words this has been the most popular series of Fifth Gear ever. We've shown you behind the scenes of Bernie Ecclestone's auction, taught super-chef Heston Blumenthal how to powerslide a cucumber in half, and found out if the James Bond stunt driver is as fast as Tiff in the Aston Martin DBS (he wasn't, quite). We've loved cars like the BMW 635d and Jaguar XF, but we've told Lotus to start building comfort into their Elise, and told Maserati to give us more power in the GranTurismo (which they just have). Stand out memories include the shock of seeing what happens when a car crashes into a tree, the theatre of the Daytona 500, and the fact you can buy a sexy Alfa GTV for £1200. Roll on the next series - have a great summer, we'll see you in July.

Good news. The fact that Fifth Gear comes on so much more frequently than Top Gear almost makes up for any shortcomings FG might have.

Look forward to it - the quality of Fifth Gear has really gone up a few notches in the past couple of series.

There is no replacement for displacement.
    - Wolfgang Bernhard, then Chief Operating Officer, Chrysler Group talking about the Dodge Viper SRT-10
... I ask Herb Helbig, vehicle synthesis manager for SRT and a member of the original Team Viper development group since day one, if they'd ever thought of adding traction control. "It comes with two," he says, pointing at my feet. "Learn to use them." Got it.

Its great that they are actually listening to the suggestions of their fans, I think they really have done a very good series this time around. I would definitely continue to watch if the following series is of the same quality.

Its great they are providing some competition now. There's no doubt it will make both shows better to watch for all of us

Yep thats true, all though I don't usually watch them lol. I'm not into fifth gear enough yet to watch full episodes. I was really surprised how well they did the nascar bit, it was really enjoyable.
