The camera guys in the camera's eye

In the last episode (8th), while Vicky was driving the Porsche Cayenne, something weird appeard in the window.
Checking it slowly, found this:

Noticed this and sometimes earlier the sound guys hand from the back seat was shown many times.
The guy sits there even on the fast laps... :S

I really dont think thats that big of a deal, why hide the camera crew that ridiculously, its not a movie (there is no suspension of disbelief), its a fact-based television program.

I've even seen Jason turn to the sound/camera guy in the passenger seat, out of view from the camera, and laugh with him. As stated, this isn't a movie.

Am i missing the sarcasm here? Cameras are spotted in Top Gear all the time.

Couldn't have said it any better. The presenters look at the cameras all the time, its not like they're breaking any kind of fourth wall by showing the crew.

Top Gear actually used to show the crew all the time. There's at least a few times when Clarkson has made comments about the sound guy not enjoying the ride or being sick. In the earlier episodes in the studio segments you can also see the cameras and crew when they pan out.

I don't think its that big a deal, infact I wonder why they aren't involved in the show more images/smilies/tongue.gif
