Tiff IMO talks like he's full of himself, therefore I don't like him images/smilies/wink.gif

Really? I've never really noticed that. I thought he didn't take himself too seriously, have you seen the time he went caravan racing? At the end he has a bit of a laugh at himself.

He is a good driver though and has a fairly successful racing career so I wouldn't be surprised if he did talk a bit like that.

I think Jeremy Clarkson talks a bit like that sometimes but not enough that I dislike him and he evens it out with some humour and things.

As a host, Jeremy is better... As a driver, definately Tiff.
Would be great if both were on the same show.....

Both on the same show? Like the old top gear? well that was ok but cause Jezza wasn't given free reign it was pretty much like fifth gear is now.

Besides, neither of them are full of themselves like Quentin Wilson was (another of the old top gear presenters)

Old TopGears had that nice "rival" between Clarkson and Tiff (and in most cases Tiff won). Fifth gear seems to lack that and it makes Tiff more annoying, because there isn't even more annoying Clarkson (not anymore, nowdays he's the man of the show and damn he's good at it) who got ashamed by Tiff...

Bottom line in old TopGear I thought Tiff was the better host and today I find Clarkson better.

Hehe, you guys sholud watch german television, there are many series and their presenters, who sucks...

Tiff is a great driver, and his way to present a car is in my opinion a really good way to show the people, what a man (or a woman images/smilies/wink.gif) can do with a car.

Jeremy is a journalist, he's a bit more cooler and presents a car with less emotion (my opinion).

But anyhow, those two guys are making the two best tv car series, I know. German shows like Motorvision and auto motor und sport tv are really boring, and it is never as entertaining as FG or TG...

As I said Jeremy is fun but Tiff is way better in handling and testing cars.

I only watch Top gear to get a laugh.
I watch Fifth gear to actually get some knowledge of the cars.

Everything u said brother, no more no less

Hi guys,

I use to love it when there was only "Top Gear", and Jeremy and Tiff were on the same show. Those were the good old days.

You would get Jeremy's down to Earth humour and opinions, and you'd get the fun of watching and listening to Tiff (I actually really like the way Tiff talks, it's a laugh) slide cars around at will.

When Tiff (and Vicki) left top gear, Top Gear was only left with Clarkson, and a new format....I personally hate the new Top Gear format. I don't like this "the Stig" person either... oooh so mysterious. pfft.. it's a car show not a sitcom or a drama.

Anyway. I personally really like Tiff, and prefer Fifth Gear to Top Gear. But both shows have their merits. One just has more than the other images/smilies/wink.gif
