Default Top Gear Moving To 9PM For Season 14

Top Gear executive producer Andy Wilman has a new blog post up. In it he explains why this season of Top Gear will air an hour later than previous seasons have:
I'll be doing a rundown of stuff that's coming in another blog, but first we must take care of some very important housekeeping, because for this series only, we're moving to 9pm on November 15. We had no choice really: X Factor on at the same time with the Results Show, Cowell on storming form, the whole nation glued – we know when to bravely bugger off and wait until the storm passes.
I've updated the counter to reflect the new air time.

... I ask Herb Helbig, vehicle synthesis manager for SRT and a member of the original Team Viper development group since day one, if they'd ever thought of adding traction control. "It comes with two," he says, pointing at my feet. "Learn to use them." Got it.
