    Top Gear Returning To BBC America Later This Month

    If you're one of the people who prefer watching Top Gear on the TV but can't figure out how to get your computer hooked up to your TV, you'll be happy to know that Top Gear season 13 will be premiering on BBC America on Monday, January 25 at 8 PM PST/EST. 24 hours after airing, the episode will be available for purchase on iTunes for just $2.

    Even better, once season 13 is done airing, season 14 (the one that just finished airing last Sunday) will start airing immediately -- no time off. That will be on March 15th, three months behind the UK airings (which isn't that bad).

    In other American Top Gear news, season 11 and season 12 of Top Gear will able for purchase on DVD starting this Tuesday, the 12th. Both of the previous links will take you directly to Amazon where you can pre-order them (doing so will also support this site).

    Last I heard, BBC America HD is only available in New York City, but they might very well decide to offer HD iTunes downloads of Series 14.

    I can't wait to get Season 11 and 12 on DVD and Season 13 on my iPod. I gotta go get a new iTunes card now.

    It's showing up on my Tivo queue and BBCA have been running advertisements for that date for the past couple of weeks, so the issue is on U-verse's end.

    Glad to see BBC America may finally be catching up, I still cheat and watch BBC2's web page <shrugs> Mostly as I do not like waiting, or seeing that someone saw an epi of something, before I did!

    I do wish BBC America would let go of its Ramsey overload, I miss Are You Being Served and Keeping Up Appearances - Gordon is okay, but not that great, for daily blocks of his show. Oh well.

    I just wish they didn't cut out all the good stuff of the shows on BBCA. And plus the "HD" isn't really HD when it gets here.
