Top Gear Uncut For 12x06 (Region Free!)

Looks like the previous videos being made UK-only was either a fluke or all the complaints decided to make them not do it again. Either way, here's three videos from 12x06 for you that are region free thanks to TopGear.com:

Not all the videos are region free as a friend mentioned all if not everyother one apart from the ones listed. I still think all of them need to be region free, as its not as if they are showing the full episodes. Now they are with Brightcove, they have the option so I am sure they are tempted to use it.

if you want the UK version of topgear.com, all you have to do is type in www.topgear.com/uk/, takes you right to it, and it also gives you the option of switching back to the US, or Australian site.

It keeps telling me I am using an old version of Adobe Flash Player (which is a lie) or having JavaScript turned off (which is a lie as well) and it does that with all the movies on the site, not just these ones. Using Firefox 3.0.4, anyone else with this problem?

The videos that were made non-region-free are still non-region-free. The new ones work, however.

Must be something wrong with your browser. Just checked the news uncut clip and it works perfectly.

Then there is something wrong with my browser as well, I can't see any of the videos since round about the time of the first news that the clips aren't region free anymore.

that's not true. they are unavailable in Russia for a couple of months already.

Yup, same here in Finland. Definately not region free.

And as a bonus the player won't work in the newest version of FireFox, but it does in safari.

sadly... not region-free in Germany... images/smilies/sad.gif

but the blocking seems to be a bit random... For Example: The "Old Giffers" Part 1 is blocked but Part 2 plays (with a "new" Soundtrack...)

So it still seems to be the Music licensing issue with the Films and Challenges, but why the News?
