I'm also going to have to change to a no. The trip to Bristol wiped out my funds.

I can't make it. I've either got family stuff, or will be up in Rochester for Labor Day. Sorry.

Looks like it's another convert. Family decided that they HAVE to move a washer, dryer, and a fridge from NJ three hours away on that day so the entire morning and some part of my afternoon will be riding around in a frickin truck (automatic mind you, the two things I hate the most) and they want ME to drive it. images/smilies/mad.gif

No LR for me. Sorry...

right then so it turns out the simple rim leak that was going to cost me $20-$30 to fix is actually going to require a new tire (actually 2 since both fronts are pretty well worn) as such i no longer have the disposable income to attend the meet (or miss a saturday night shift) sorry.

i would love to come to any future meets we plan (possibly ALMS at lime rock next summer hint hint hint)

Damn this sucks that everyone is having problems with going now. images/smilies/cry.gif

Unbenost to me my wife set up a dinner thing with another couple for that Saturday so I couldn't even meet you guys for dinner now. images/smilies/sad.gif

I think that just this weekend is a bad weekend since it is labor day. We need to do this another weekend for sure though.

On a positive personal note if I have a good Saturday I will break my own personal monthly sales record.

You guys make baby BlaRo cry. images/smilies/cry.gif

Anyway, I've sent a PM to everybody on the list, regardless which list they're in. IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO SIGN UP! Tickets are still available online!

Ack.

Instead of hanging with you guys today, I spent my day losing my mind. Had to drive a Dodge Sprinter WITH a NON WORKING TURBO 3 hours to New Jersey and back. My God, I thought I was going to shoot myself; pedal literally couldn't be pressed harder and it simply would NOT go above 60mph!

Are there going to be any other events that I could book ahead of time so I could safely say "screw you, I have plans" to people next time? images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

YEAH! BEST MEET EVER! images/smilies/lol.gif

It turned out pretty well, I got to meet wooflepoof in person, take lots of pictures, look at cars I've only read about being worked on by crusty old men in the open paddock, and get shivers down my spine from the Corvette Grand Sports chasing the pair of E-Type racers along the Back Straight on a beautiful overcast Saturday afternoon.

If anybody else from FG was there and didn't get my PM/couldn't find me, well...I hope you enjoyed yourself at least. images/smilies/wink.gif

I'm thinking we should do this again sometime, except not on a busy weekend like Labor Day, and not at an event that costs money. Also, I don't want to organize it. images/smilies/tongue.gif

Pictures coming soon!

Yeah glad that you guys had fun. We will have to try it again on a less busy weekend. Maybe we can try and do it at a car show that is free to get into. There are quite a few of medium to large car shows like that in southern new england this time of year through the beginning of October.
