It's like 25 cents a day images/smilies/rolleyes.gif and that's only over if your computer was off. You don't have to leave your PC on 24/7 if you don't want to.

As for how much power it'll use when running over when not running, it's probably like a dollar a year. You realize how much the processor itself uses? It's soooo little.

I'm using the console edition which is just DOS based pretty much and I have it installed as a Windows service.

That program you see is called "Electron Microscope III" and it's just a method of monitoring the console client, possibly other clients.

You can get it here: http://home.comcast.net/~wxdude1/emsite/

2 days = the time you've worked on it so far?

The february date should be the deadline for completion of the WU, and the time should be until completion of the WU.

Jw, did u DL a different version..? mines just a screen saver of all the protein atoms and then the timeleft, frams done, etc.

Says my next one will be don in 30 mins...my P4 2.4 GHz might be a 24/7

Main reason i'm doing this is....i can feel happy i'm contrubuteing to the research of it...and if i get cancer or something and theres a cure due to distrubuted computering and other advances, i'll know i did something

I run the console client (ugly text based version) as I could care less about the screen saver and stuff. Plus, I have Hpyerthreading ("2" processors) and so running the console clients is the only way I can make use of "both" of them.

The thing you see above is a program for monitoring the work of the console clients, and possibly the other versions.
