heh, I put 6 processors to work today for the forum team. I was considering adding the FTP server to the list but decided not to as a result of the added load on the machine. I hope to have 2 - 4 more processors available in the next few days to help out as well.

How long does it take everyone to complete a WU ?. Folding@Home is running here for eight hours and I have completed about 1/10 of a circle.

Don't know if it's same everytime, but mine seem to take about 36-38 hours to complete on my desktop machine judging by this first one.

Your firewall might be denying it access.

You shouldn't need to open ports. I didn't open ports on my router and it's fine that way.
It looks like it'll take me 2 days. I have an AMD 2000+ XP Athlon but it's my daily used computer as well. |

yeah your speeds in completing work units will change based on the WU. I seem to have gotten lucky enough to get WUs that are huge timewise, as my XP 2800+ machine, which has been running for about 13 hours, has only finished 20% of a work unit. The two running on the 850s are going to be a while. Usually the longer the WU the more points you get though, so its well worth it.
