Who the hell thought it would be a good idea to put egg in a sandwich? That's another thing I can't stand, kinda goes back to my rant about breakfast sandwiches above images/smilies/yucky.gif

I'm sorry that I'm a fat, stupid American and British TV hasn't permeated my fat, stupid lifestyle to such an extent that I'm intimately familiar with long-running comedy sci-fi program(me)s.

I did read the Wikipedia article, though! images/smilies/wink.gif

I've heard Billy Connolly talk about a lamb version before. He said it was very tasty but very hot, the kind of hot where you need to put the toilet paper in the fridge before hand.

He's also talked about something he loves called vegemite, it's some horrible thing that's like jelly for toast, Whoopie Goldberg described its taste as licking a cats asshole.

It's made out of yeast that's already been used in the process of beer brewing, I think. Sounds vile, but It's one of those love/hate things.

I've never had a vindaloo before, what's it like?

Which is kinda good... I always say indians like to eat spicy food, cause then you can't taste how shit the food tastes, what with the spicyness killing your taste buds.

^Or because you actually start liking spicy stuff. I know I have a pavlov's dog's drool reaction whenever I see habanero peppers in the grocery store.

If Indian food tastes shit, then why the fuck would a billion people in India, and millions around the world (including non-Indians) be eating it? images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

That's the most stupidest thing I ever heard. Have you even eaten proper Indian food? The majority of it is not hot at all. Don't confuse spiciness with hotness.

I have no fucking clue. Why is Britney Spears one of the best selling artists of the last 10 years?

And yeah, I've pretty much tried indian food from most of the more prominent regions of india that have had their cuisine reach the UK (which is a fair amount), and I haven't yet liked one dish. Just doens't work for me.

Not many indians here in Munich, but we have a couple indian aquaintances in cheltenham.... I'll see if the opportunity comes around, and that'll be the last chance I give it images/smilies/lol.gif

I love century eggs, and durian, and chicken feet etc. Not a fan of pig's blood jelly, which my dad loves, and I once ate duck's tongues without knowing that they were. My mum casually went 'oh, you're brave,' and let me know what it was I was eating. euuuurrrrrgggghhh.

Will you all stop talking about curry? I want one now, and it's nearly one in the morning and all the curry houses are shut.

Curries are one of my favourite things to make. Thai - style green curry chicken is my favourite - but you have to have the right, top quality spices or at least a decent curry paste. Can be a bit expensive.

Speaking of disgusting I just remembered what my brother's favourite food was between the ages of about six and ten: vegemite and cheese sandwiches. Ech.. I have a problem with vegemite, the smell of it especially, and the fact it looks like poo. images/smilies/yucky.gif

I love cheese and Vegemite/Marmite sandwiches! I was brought up on Marmite, but I think Vegemite just has the edge. And they're even better if you drop them in the toaster.

We killed several toasters that way in the common room at school. These days Health and Safety probably would have banned us all from the kitchen!

My personal disgusting thing - tinned milk puddings. Rice pudding is OK at a push, but tinned semolina is like sweetened wallpaper paste and as for tinned tapioca... images/smilies/puke.gif
