Abu Dhabi is entering in 2009. Great to see we're racing March to November like the good old days. I've said for a long time that 2008 was going to be the turning point in F1, and they have reverted to the old format Mar-Nov images/smilies/biggrin.gif

when is South Africa going to host another F1 event on Kyalami Circuit? Apartheid is long over, ppl need to get over it and move on.

I thought Kyalami wasn't used anymore because it didnt meet FIA standards.

Yup. It's a shame as the interest towards F1 in SA is quite considerable. I don't remember the number of people who went to Kyalami when Williams went there to test last winter (or the winter before that...), but it was an astonishing figure.

The thing is that 5 teams including Ferrari were meant to go there aswell for that test, but it ended with Williams only going.

faaaar too complicated. i get the feeling the designers were trying too hard. there are a couple of longish straight where cars could pass.
