The last few laps were most certainly the best laps with the duel between Webber and Jensen, but Vettel sticking to Hamilton's butt before the first stops was almost as entertaining for me. I noticed Vettel was short shifting prior to the stop so I am curious as to whether he was just being nice to the engine or if Hamilton's pace was that off due to his brakes; Vettel was giving it full revs on the last few laps though.

Weirdly, I wonder why Webber is the one doing the donuts. When I saw it on the tv I thought it was Vettel, after all, he did win the race.
And when the reporter in the post-race conference asked Webber if he's staying with Red Bull, he hesitated a bit before saying "yes". Am I reading too much into it? |

Yep, but Vettel just stayed out of everything, while Webber got some real racing action during these last laps - he probably was much more excited than Vettel - a second place you had to fight for wheel to wheel against the world champion for the final laps feels more win-y than a win, i guess.

^ For sure! We've been pretty lucky the last 2 years. I don't think anything will top last year's finish for edge-of-the-seat action but this year's final lap was damn good viewing as well!

Was it him that almost ran down Martin Brundle during the gridwalk?

In engineering terms, you really can’t have "brilliant, apart from ..." I mean, the Titanic was brilliant, apart from its crappy rudder

I missed the race, because I had to get up early the next morning to start my new job!
Was very happy to see Vettel and Webber finish 1-2. Bring on 2010!
