Kobayashi has been a huge surprise, so hopefully he'll be around next year.

Kobayashi has been a huge surprise indeed, especially as I watched all of his GP2 races in the last two years. He didn't really stand out to say the least, he had his moments and could be very fast, but I'd never have thought that he would be this impressive.

Definitely Kobayashi, he's quite entertaining and has done quite well. I would also like to see Buemi continue in F1 next year. I think he has shown some really good performances this year (Shanghai springs to mind) and will continue to improve.

Kobayashi, definately. He looks really racy, he's not afraid to challenge people on the track, and his pace is excellent.

Buemi has shown a lot of growth over the course of the year and I think is definitely a driver to watch in the future, he deserves a ride. Kobayashi also definitely earned his spot in the last two races, and made Trulli look awful in the process by beating him in Abu Dhabi.
Though I didn't vote for Jamie or Romain, I also think its worth noting that this year Kobayashi was the exception as far as coming into the car in the season and having any real success. Proven-ish drivers couldn't do it for ferrari and Liuzzi wasn't very impressive for FI. So I'm not sure that it's entirely fair to base the worth of those drivers on this season, I'll wait for the ridiculously limited winter testing to make my mind up on that. PS- Every time I think of the shittyness that will be how short the winter test allocation is, I want to go and yell at Bernie. Rookie drivers in particular NEED that time to not only earn a spot but gain experience.

And from the GP2 races, it can be seen that you can't judge an F1 driver based on GP2 or Formula Ford whatever performances (Bordais, Piquet). Sometimes it just clicks and sometimes it doesn't.

Koba and Boo-amy only.

Buemi made his name a bit this year as consistently quick, but rather error-prone. He'll likely get a seat next year, he deserves one in order to hone his racecraft and he might be someone to watch out. Maybe not for a Championship, but for the odd win here and there.
Kobayashi's really been a massive surprise in the two races he's done. He basically jumped in and drove his heart out, made a couple of mistakes, like his incident with Nakajima in the pits, but his race in Abu Dhabi was nothing short of a blinder. If Toyota stay in F1, they'd be mad not to put him into a seat; if they leave, then another team HAS to snap him up to a race seat.

I kind of hope that Grosjean gets another chance, maybe not next year but later (like Glock, for instance). I know he hasn't been impressive and had numerous off-track moments and incidents, but I still think he's pretty talented. When he kept it on the track, his pace was not too bad, but Renault was getting worse almost race-by-race, in Brazil it really looked to be the worst car on the grid. And the lack of testing... to some drivers (like Kobayashi) it doesn't seem to be a problem, but I think the majority would need some time to get adjusted to the car by driving around for miles and miles without the pressure of a quali or a race. I've never rated Grosjean as high as Hamilton or Rosberg etc, nowhere near, but he did look quite promising and I think it would be a shame if his F1 career ended like this.

All four to be honest. I mean, they should have some testing before being plonked into the race seat. So I'd keep them, and after a full season with testing before you can judge them. The fact that Kobayashi came through without any of that just means he is exceptional, not that the others are bad.

Kobayashi is instantly my fave rookie. If he doesn't get a seat anywhere in 2010, people need to have their heads read. I also thought Buemi showed his true potental in the last half of the season. Jamie probably needs another season at Torro Rosso, but otherwise he's doing ok.

Jaime is quite handsome. He's a good marketing tool. Grosjean is proof that bankers can be (semi-)cool.

Gro and Alg are both ok...nothing more. Buemi showed some sparks and was quite consistent so he probably deserves his STR seat (and lets not forget he was test driving for RBR the whole season...).
Koba was quite fun to watch and surprisingly quick, he definitely needs to be in F1 next season.
