Default Will and should FIA let Ferrari use team orders?

I have seen a lot of talk about Ferrari needing to use team orders to let Kimi get the maximum number of points conveniently ignoring the fact that team orders are illegal. Mad Max has particularly stated that the FIA would be closely monitoring McLaren for any evidence of team orders that disadvantage Alonso's WDC bid (This is probably the only thing stopping Ron from doing something about Alonso right now). It will be a travesty if FIA let's Ferrari use team orders and will provide yet another bullet in the armoury of those who claim that the FIA are biased towards Ferrari.

I don't think Ferrari need to make that choice, Kimi is fast enough and looks like he is getting the hang on his Ferrari.

The FIA cant punish Ferrari if say a wheel nut wont lock on by "accident" on Felipe's car.

Or they simply tell Massa that Kimi WILL finish ahead of him...

Massa knows his challenge is over, and he will expect a delay in the pit box if he gets in front of Kimi, you could see in Belgium that in the last 10 laps he was taking his frustration out by driving fast.

As far as i'm concerned, team orders should be fair game. that's why f1 teams are called TEAMS, not support groups for individual drivers.

I agree in principal. But I don't give a shit principal because it really ruins the race. It makes the whole sport hollow.

Its important for Raikkonen to finish ahead of Massa, but its also important for Massa and Raikkonen finishing ahead of Alonso and Hamilton. That's not something they can do easily. They can't do it as explicitly as they have done in the past because its illegal and would be obvious whats going on.

So how would they do it?

Say Massa is leading, Raikkonen Second and the two McLaren's 3rd and 4th. They could orchestrate some sort of overtaking maneuver, but it might look obvious. They could do some pit stop leap frogging, by fucking up Massa's second stop, but that's a bit risky, a McLaren could catch up.

The ideal situation would be for Raikkonen to be P1 in Quali, and Massa P2. Maybe in the practice sessions Massa will practice being 1 one thousanth slower than Raikkonen.

I bet Ferrari are thinking these sort of things right now.

Too bad. I hate Kimi, but Massa's a nice guy and a good driver.

I don't think team orders will need to come into it,as hopefully Kimi will hopefully be on top form for the rest of the year and beat Massa anyway.
