Who cares if it was CG, whats awesome is what appears how much ability they gave you to play with editing replays/making videos. I'll probably screw around with that feature quite a bit.

Meh, I dropped the GT series after playing Forza 2. Maybe the physics weren't 1000% accurate, but it was far more enjoyable to play. The graphics were good, the custom paint jobs were an awesome feature, better sound, and DAMAGE. (And the fact that 3 is including roll overs makes me even more excited!)

I love racing around a track at break-neck speeds while trying not to ding a $300K piece of machinery.

I'm just hoping for a first gen RX7. And again...better rotary sounds, they were terrible in FM2.

And each one supposedly accurately detailed...

Having an accurately detailed interior of all of these race cars is a PC Sim racer's DREAM.

WHY CAN'T WE HAVE A GAME TO DO THIS FOR THE PC!??!

Probably in-game screenshots taken with a dev kit with lots of custom AA stuff. If they pull a Halo an alter the rendering for screenshots, the pics we take may end up that good. Seeherelook:

Even though Halo 3 doesn't have any in-game AA, it still applies it when you take a screenshot.

Either way, that is some damn impressive modeling. I think its just as strong as what we've seen from GT5, if not more so. I would wager a large amount that is the PGR team's doing.

Can anyone identify the car in this screen thats in the back left? (White with blue stripes)

Porsche 956 maybe? Looks too short to be the 962. Also...maybe 787b? images/smilies/biggrin.gif

edit: definitely not a 787

This is starting to look like the prettiest racing game ever, which is not what I expected in the least.

Nice pics there.

Sure it is a big improvement over Forza 2. But I hardly think the game will ship with full AA on it.

I'm definetly going to buy it on release day.

Yay Circuit de la Sarthe is now official. This game makes the Bentley Speed 8 looks so amazing. I can't wait till it comes out! images/smilies/mrgreen.gif
