I've been using what I call my "Hill Climb Special" Audi Sport Quattro, A-class. Used it in C-class form and didn't like the gearing.

Currently tackling the Fujimi Kaido F-class tourney with a Toyota Celica Supra tuned to F200.

Drifting or actual racing?

Drifting, it's my brand new Saleen S331 with the S7 motor, TT, 905hp.

Actual racing, er... no idea. Haven't done that yet.

Someone earlier asked about upgrading street cars to R3. I've done it to the Exige Cup, and that's what I'm currently using for the R3 world championship. I had to brake earlier than everyone else (right past the first set of brake markers) but it killed the other cars in both acceleration and top speed. I've only done the Sebring so far, but it was pretty easy and I was in first by the end of the second lap, driving at a liesurely pace.

As for the Fujimi Kaido, I love all the low end cars. They're slow so you get into the rhythm of the track and the race lasts long enough to take in all the scenery. I use the '71 Skyline GT-R and the Celica Supra because they both kick the tail out nicely. I'll probably buy an AE86 next.

P.S. I'm pretty bummed about not being able to download my VIP cars because I don't have Xbox Live gold...

so how do i change the fov? i tried setting it to multiple monitors and changing the fov to 60 but when the the xbox restarts it justs says "connecting" and i get the only option of restarting the xbox again... and the fov doesnt seem to have changed

You need to be connected to the internet for it to work. It has to do with IP addys as it creates an IP for each screen. Even with only one screen, it still sends the signal.

Can anyone tell me how to turn on the clutch function? I use manual, but it is a pain trying to drift without being able to blip the clutch.

And does anyone know how to get the "Lapper" acheivement?

In your assists, you should be able to turn your transmission from "manual" to "manual with clutch."

Ah right, thats why I put my router - connected to nothing else - behind the xbox. It just needs an IP... It did work sometimes without it as well, though. Or maybe it would have worked all the time and the freezes came from my xbox crapping out. Everything is just peachy on the new elite...!

On that note, they advertised the airfield as an open sandbox for you to fool around in... but is there actually any way to access it as such? I've only seen it as a regular track with a ton of lame and basic layouts so far, but no instance where it's just an open field where you can go wherever you want.
