    Where are those JCB engines?

    By the way the displacement in litres for MTU is wrong, it should be 65L.

    I dunno... I wouldn't call most of them "great" because they are only used in Utility vehicles. Booooring.

    Also, good diesel engines are a pretty new thing imho, most that are older than 10 years suck...hard. The new high-tech turbo diesels are the only ones that deliver something thats remotely similar to driving pleasure. (And if you list them, you should never forget the Merc and Audi V8 diesels, along with the BMW x35d engine)

    which cars/trucks have which engine?
    I believe that 1.9TDI is great engine for normal cars - reliable, economic and enough power for day to day.
    What about the JTD from fiat? i've heard it's pretty good.

    I agree, its one of the VAG's most popular engines. The R10s engine should be there, interesting ist though.

    LOL

    Tell that to my neighbour who can't get his started in the winter.. or the other ford owners who wonder why they need a rebuild at 200K miles.. The only thing the powerstroke was good for was ripping the turbo and intercooler out at the graveyard and installing them in your mustang

    it should be swapped with the cummins in that list..
