what dodge has gotten $2 million at auction?
Challenger Convertible with a Hemi. Any of the "Mopar's" with original Hemi's and a Convertible top are worth a fortune cause so few of them were made.

I'm going to point out now, that I don't care about the "differences" between a Dodge, Plymouth, or a Chrysler. I throw them all into 1 and refer to them as Dodge. It makes using Married with Children Jokes about their products that much easier images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Eh, same company, close enough. images/smilies/tongue.gif

Not many Dodges sell for that price, but almost every Hemi 'Cuda 'vert seems to go for that much. The most expensive Dodge I found at Barret-Jackson was this ugly-colored but still sexy Hemi Daytona Coupe: $412500.00. It's usually cars with rare numbers-matching engine options, like Hemi Coronets $660,000 and this nice piece of concept history ($1,100,000.00), but it's a one-of-a-kind so that explains it.

btw, Barret-Jackson has lots of stupidly hi-res pictures of their classic cars, you should all take a look.

From memory, for a brief period during the 1970s, the Australian Ford Falcon GTHO III was the most powerful (fastest?) production sedan in the world.

A lot of middle aged people (now with lots of money) are now buying cars that they missed out on during their childhood/teenage years. That's why we've been seeing quite a few retro designs.
