Italian noodles to the rescue!
Hillman Imp FTW!

Oh, and I think I've made up my mind on the RWD. I'm currently looking at RWD cars for myself, and I will drive a FWD one, but give me a Megane R26.R and I wouldn't say no!
depending on the chassis, under 300tq is drivable with fwd. my gti is at the 310-320 wheel tq mark and it makes for an exciting drive. but i will admit that in inclement weather i have to keep the traction control on, if not the car is pretty much stupid to drive.
can't wait to push ~500whp out of my light 240that should make for some scary driving

Is that the FWD or RWD one?

I'm guessing 500whp on a FWD car will torque-steer-rip your arms from their sockets in the corners
no, 500fwhp would just waste tires like there is no tomorrow![]()

Nissan confuses things with the FWD SX they made.
If it was 500fwhp you could save weight by removing the steering wheel. It would be useless anyway.

tranceporter is talking about a 240SX... aka the car that everyone drifts... aka its rwd...

I don't know. I'm somewhat tempted to look at a hot hatch for my next car... something like a Golf GTi. But knowing how impractical I am, I'll be looking for a E39 540i/6 in the next couple of years![]()

I prefer RWD over AWD/FF, but I don't mind.
And AWD is a nice for a laid back car. Feels nice and solid to control.
But I like all cars, RWD is just an all around nice setup for any car. Nice and basic. Easy to control and predictable when the tail does go.
After driving an upgraded Turbo Saab 900, I can say for sure, that any car you plan on making relatively serious power with should have RWD.
