Aston Martin DB9 vs. Ferrari 360

Just what is better? I don’t care if you vote on looks the name or even witch has the highest reputation. The candidates are The Aston Martin DB9 and the Ferrari 360.

Why the 360? Why not the F430?

I don't know if either car could make an owner happy though. Astons have the once a month 500 dollar checkups, with their electrical/sensor/audio failures, limpmode tendencies, poor seals, and dead batteries. While ferraris just can't be driven regularly. Also why did you choose the 360 instead of the 430? The 430 has the manettino and a better interior I think.

Well, I don't really know. The 2 main cars I would dream to have are probable them at the top (AM DB9 and F 360) but maybe they would be more challenge if I have the F430. Think of the vote as Astin Martin DB9 vs. Ferrari 360/F430

while the Ferrari maybe faster, and more reliable...Aston are really rare, and the prestige behind the car. This comparission is a bad one though.

I tend to find, that ferrari are the more rare here in. If I go to the mall right now (la jolla- weekend) , I will see ~ 2 lambos, and 2 astons with a load of bentleys, bmws, mercs, porsche 911's. No NSx's and maybe a ferrari every other visit.

Strange comparison - the F360 is superseded, and the two vehicles are in different markets. But, given that choice - DB9 without a shadow of a doubt. So much class, style and performance, and the ability to be a true GT.

Anyway, "which is better" is a pretty vague question. I chose the F360 because it's what I'd sooner have. It's more "thrash-able" and it comes with a manual gearbox.

Maybe it's just me: sport over luxury.

I've spent a lot of time behind the wheel of a 6-speed Ferrari 360 Spider. I've never driven a DB9 and I don't have to. Ferrari all the way.

I'd take the DB9 without doubt. Unlike the 360 - which looks like a piece of cement made to look like a car, sort of - it's good looking. It's fast enough for me, and it has some comfort. Come on, you want to be stuck in traffic in a Ferrari? Which would you use every day?
