| The Audi A4 drop-top is to receive a makeover similar to that of the recently-revised A4 saloon and Avant estate. These shots - of Cabriolets on a ferry on their way back from winter testing in Sweden - show that the Cabrio is to get the more slanted wraparound projector-style headlamps, a redesigned front bumper and foglamps, and the single-frame grille. A slight curve each side of the bonnet makes the front end look a little more aggressive and purposeful. Expect revisions to the suspension to improve ride and handling, uprated brakes and, in the V6 and 2.0T FSI versions, the speed-sensitive power steering previously unique to S4 models. Minor tweaks will be made to the interior. The Cabriolet is likely to be offered with a similar engine choice to the revised mainstream A4 line-up, with the latest direct-injection FSI petrol engines: the turbocharged 2.0T FSI, as in the Golf GTi, and the 3.2 V6 FSI, plus diesels - probably the latest 2.0 TDI and perhaps the 3.0 TDI V6 as well. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | |
