Yes, it is cheap. Old Dacias are going for higher prices but the fact that this car requires some if not a lot of repair and building plus the fact that, at least here in Bucharest, you can't find a parking space near the apartment building you live in let alone get a garage or something make having a project car difficult.

Oh, and people prefer crashing German luxury saloons into trees here
