Would say a Radical then, but it wasen't a open car? And those things have huge spoilers anyway so that would rule it out...

M3lover - the Leblanc is nearly there in general shape (though I take your point about rarity). I still think the car I saw had higher and even more angular raised sections over the back wheels. It's so difficult to explain in words what is quite a clear picture in my head, but I don't have the artistic skills or technical knowhow to transfer that onto a posting!

OK, this could really complicate things. I Googled "Supercar" and after I'd ignored the pictures of Mike Mercury (it's an age thing, children) I found a couple of photos that were as near as I can be sure of. One was a Caparo T1 (the nearest) and the other said it was a Lablanc Caroline. I will now sit back and wait for someone to tell me neither is possible, then I'll give up and consign it to the vaults of "that was a nice car, that was". images/smilies/lol.gif

Donington, we used to have an Isetta just like your 4th photo, and InfernalVortex, Husband has had 9 Lotuses (Loti? And I was actually allowed to drive most of them) so I would have recognised one of those. But I think you're right - we'll probably never know. Ah well.
