Just wondering how things are going in Great Britain! I was wondering if Gordon seems to be more or less of a anti-car campaigner. From what i've read its hard to tell. I know hes a labour party member, but the "controversy" over him still driving a Jag V8 instead of a Prius actually makes me think that maybe with some luck he wont go bananas and all out ban everything thats good about cars. Reading the article about the controversy here makes the whole of Britain sound like some really rather poor videogame. The momentum for anti-car crap seems pretty high over in Europe (i just read articles, so this is where you come in and tell me if i'm wrong) but hopefully this Brown guy won't be pushing it any further.
Anyways just want to know how its going over there! Hopefully i can come back for another holiday sometime without having to worry about being sent to prison for undertaking on the highway while changing my radio and talking on the cell .

He won't be any better than Blair on that issue, because nobody is in British politics. If you look at the "conservatives" they jock the "tax air travel and cars more to save the world!" just as much as the lefties. Given that our right wing party has that sort of spineless attitude, Brown, in the left of centre party, isn't going to be any better.
