Default Bumper Stickers

I'm not sure how common bumper stickers are around the world, but in the US they express everything from the age of the driver's children, his political views, if he eats meat, or if he's a smartass. Some people are even getting custom stickers for their rear windows that are child-like drawings of their family.

Some stickers are clever and rather cool, others are just stupid and make me want to punch the driver in question.

Some that I have seen recently I like:
On a minivan: "Minivans are tangible evidence of evil"
"My kid fragged your honor student" - obviously mom or dad is a gamer.
"In the event of Rapture, can I have your car?"

Some that I hate:
Baby on Board - because usually the person is driving like an asshat and hoping the sticker will make me open a hole because she (and it's always a she) happens to have reproduced.

So, what are some you like or hate?

I fucking hate bumper stickers. Nobody cares that you think Tibet should be freed, because having a flimsy little witticism on the back of your Volvo 240 really does tell other people that you shouldn't steal because "the government hates competition". You think you're going to change the world by putting on a flimsy piece of sticky paper? You're not Bono, you're not going to change the world because you have some shitty environmentalist/political/religious crap hanging off your 1996 Subaru Outback Sport.

The "my son is an honor student" stickers have descended into parody yet some misguided dipshits still feel the need to brag about their demon-spawn attending their poorly-funded public school full of ambivalent looneys. Political bumper stickers are hilarious: how many people spent hours furiously scrubbing off their Kerry-Edwards stickers off their Civic Hybrids after the election? Nice going, guys. images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

The only bumper sticker I would ever get is this:

I like just about anything that'll make me laugh or snicker just because I need something to make the drive on our open highways more entertaining without resulting to running everyone off the road.

I would love to run people that decide they need to tell me ALL of their damned political views via the back of their damn car. Or proclaim their love for Jesus (which amounts to the same as above really).

We never got one, but we wanted to put "This car is not abandoned" on our '77 Buick "The Battle Wagon" Regal, that car definitely looked as though it had managed to survive nuclear winter.

I love the political bumper stickers especially for local elections. Usually the person with the Billy Bob for Commissioner stickers is Billy Bob himself, and then when he drives like an asshat and cuts me off in traffic, he instantly loses my vote. Worst method of political advertising ever.

i do like to put some stickers at the back of my car, not a thousand though. All our family's cars have to have the Apple sticker on them images/smilies/smile.gif
And I quite like the irony of having a WWF panda sticker just over my exhaust images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I also like to put some nerdy stuffs that no one will understand in France.

Though I must admit, they are great for road trips.

I hate hate hate the "My twatmonger is an honor student at BlowJobsRUs High School". And I hate the people who cover every inch of their car with stickers stating their political and religous views. The ones that just piss me off are the anti-gay ones, like "Man + Woman = Right/Man + Man = Burning In Hell".

Well it's not a bumper sticker but it's comparable;

At the bottom of my registration plate i have, in small text, "If you're close enough to read this, you've already hit me". The company I had made my plates offered the service of custom text for a couple pounds extra.

Edit: Yeah here we go http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...a/100_1843.jpg

Here's another good one that I'm putting on any car I own built before 1969.

I've got a few on the back of the Discovery. I love how they give it that little something extra. I'm quite proud of the little flags and I'm really surprised I was able to find some that fit there as perfectly as those do. I need to replace the GB oval since it was destroyed by the old lady in the Buick. I came off easy only losing a sticker rather than a whole car. images/smilies/tease.gif Whenever I can get ahold of a MVLRS sticker it's going on too, probably on the bumper or spare tire cover.

http://pic.phyrefile.com/2008/02/29/Back008.jpg

While on the subject of bumper stickers, I absolutely hate those magnetic ribbons people put on the backs of their cars. They look ridiculously tacky no matter what they're on or what they're for.

The manufactures need to bring back bumpers that are outside of the body work, it is only then that the stickers work.
