Hey, thanks for sharing that. I had no clue about that company, and I live in the one province (BC) where apparently it's legal!

Great video, but the specs on it are a bit iffy:

Quote:
It has a range of up to 35 miles (56 km) and does not exceed 25 mph (40 km/h).

*laughs* So, it's a slightly less ugly, probably just as unsafe G-Wiz?

I could swear that there's a petrol-powered (moped or motorbike engined) 'quadricicle' microcar on sale here in France that looks identical to that.

Definitelly better all around then a G-wheeze. Haven't found anything regarding a crash test, but i'm sure it can beat a table. images/smilies/tongue.gif

Doesn't a G-Wiz have better range and a higher top-speed? (yes, it does: 45-50 top speed, and 45-40mile range)

He pronounces "car" in a weird way. images/smilies/tongue.gif
Im not judging that though. What I am judging is the range that thing can drive with on a recharge... and seriously, 35mph? Is too slow... and it takes 6hours to recharge...

You might think it's OK if you charge it over night but it will not last a full day on one recharge.
Yes. I hate it. It looks ugly, and saying that "At least it looks better than a G-Wiz" is not really a compliment is it?? Is too slow. And why the hell every time someone launches some type of EcoCar, they HAVE TO make it into a rolling ad wall. EcoFriendly, ElectroPower and shit like that... the worst things about eco cars is the hype.

An electric car? In Canada? Mmmkaaayyy...

5 bucks says battery will be empty in the morning, and it'll be simply unchargable in winter. images/smilies/tongue.gif
