its probably the way they stick up out of the bed like that, that makes them look like they were just stuck in there without bothering to make them functional.

the old one with the stepside bed and the pipes on the outside looked much better

I'm well aware of who makes my LeBaron. As for the Stealth, Dodge had very little to do with that, it was made by Mitsubishi. Now, for the rest of your asinine statement. I'm a big fan of Chrysler, but they've been screwing a lot up lately which is part of the reason they're in the crapper. I love all old Mopar muscle like the Super Bee and to me the Rumble Bee is a just a stupid marketing ploy to market off an iconic car by badging a truck, not to mention, that was about all they did.

It's factory rice, and it's lame.

Also, just because I own a Chrysler product and I'm a big fan of Mopar doesn't mean I have blind loyalty and am incapable of pointing out stupid crap when I see it. Also, you're the one generalizing, I never said anything about the Ram in general. It's the only truck I would buy if I wanted to buy a truck. My comments are only for the Daytona and Rumble Bee versions. And your comments did not sound like sarcasm at all either. You seemed like the one with panties in a bunch.

The lack of heat baffling is what screws it up for me (as with everyone's DIY stack jobs). Read the article linked from the article and they talk about how it was too economically impractical for the low production numbers they're going to do.

Mind you the obvious solution would be to order some baffling from wherever the hell those crazy truckers with custom rigs buy it and cut it to length. Which wouldn't fit the pipes, because they're only 3" pipes - so obviously bigger pipes from the bed up would be necessary - but that's not all that much of an added expense. Not enough lateral thinking involved here.
