    Chevy Silverado

    Do they make the hybrid version yet?

    cause we just passed one on the highway with Quebec's government flag and all and there was a tag saying "Hybride" on it. I guess they're testing it but I didn't know they were out yet... maybe it's not the official GM hybrid and it's another system?

    I dont know... i dont know why anyone would be interested in a hybrid truck...

    I don't think Americans car makers get it. If someone wants to be frugal and environmentally friendly, they buy economy cars with hybrid powertrains.

    They don't buy huge behemoth pickup trucks. They don't buy SUV half running on electricity.

    People either buy trucks for work (thus a need for serious power) or because they like the "manly" feel of SUVs, how many or tough will you feel when your 4WD, locking differential, studded tires SUV runs out of batteries?
