C5 Z06s are ranging from $20-30k right now. C6s (non-Z06) are in the high-20 low-30 range. Which would you pick and why? You may assume Z51 package on the C6.

C6. It's smaller, right? I like the styling better anyway, and I don't think I'd feel bad about losing the "sporting potential" of the Z06 - the C6 is fast enough for a road car.

I voted C5 but then I changed my mind.

As for the C5 Z06 v C6 I can confirm at least from autocross experience the c5 Z06 is faster is stock form. Dont know about on a road course.

I saw a stingray this morning actually. While I respect them, I'd never buy one. A base c5 would rape the 'ray so badly on a track that its not even funny. To me that counts for a lot.

C5 Z06 and autocross it in Super Stock. I want a competitive autocross car, and the last time I checked, the Z06 (C5 or C6) was competitive in SS, while the C6 wasn't. I could probably build a C6 into something competitive in ASP, but I'd rather stick to stock when we're talking about this kind of power. Besides, if I wanted to run in ASP, I'd just run the boyfriend's GT3 RS.
