Default Craigslist Boredom

Sometimes I get bored and randomly search craigslist for cars. I'm not trying to find any, I just like looking and seeing if there are any cars that cool for the price. So I thought up a little game of sorts. Go to your local craigslist site, and search for a car that is less than $5000 (or your national equivalent) and see what you can find that's pretty cool.

Just searched for my city and came up a 1991 Alfa 164 for $3900.

First of all - there is a game forum, and I think this belongs there.
Second - that Alfa is worth about half of the asking price.

R33 Skyline in Los Angeles. God knows what they've broken to part with it that cheap (aside from making it wear a hideous bodykit anyway)

I was looking for unusual cars and found this:

http://sacramento.craigslist.org/ctd/1313042855.html

A green 1974 Mustang II with a 4 cylinder, no A/C, and an AM radio! And for more money than it cost when new!

(Yes, I know the dealer says it has an AM/FM radio, but the pic clearly shows an AM radio. The dealer also confuses leather with vinyl.)

Ha, that thing has a lot of the same interior bits that were in my '77 Mercury Marquis... Including the steering wheel.

WTF GREEN BATHROOM RUG INTERIOR?!?!

It looks like a European bathroom from the 70s images/smilies/yucky.gifimages/smilies/yucky.gifimages/smilies/puke.gif

But, apart from the bathroom rug floor, pretty nice. In fact better looking dashboard than some American cars from this millennium.

Shag carpet was all the rage in the 70s.

Oh god, don't remind me how much time I can waste by searching for cars. One day I found a Gumpert Apollo and a Veyron, another day I found a Lola racecar. I'm more into finding the most expensive cars though. the Gumpert was priced at over $400k and the Veyron was $1.6 million. Thats crazy for a car!
