Three injured when car stunt ends in crash
One in the hospital after high-speed jump over train tracks goes bad
The Salt Lake Tribune
Article Last Updated: 03/27/2007 01:07:41 AM MDT

Three people were injured Sunday afternoon when the driver of an Audi Quattro launched his car 74 feet over train tracks in Salt Lake City and, upon landing, crashed into a tree. Police said the crash occurred near a sidewalk on the Jordan River Parkway, near 1100 West and American Avenue, about 5:40 p.m. The driver was traveling close to 70 mph on the road when the car hit the elevated tracks and landed front wheels first, Salt Lake City police spokeswoman Robin Snyder said. An adult woman, who was a passenger in the car, suffered a broken leg and other injuries and was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. The 16-year-old driver and a 15-year-old male passenger suffered minor injuries. A fourth rider was uninjured. Residents in the area told police that teens jumping the tracks in cars is a common occurrence, but Snyder said she was unaware of any other incidents reported to police. Charges are pending against the teens in Sunday's crash and officers will be watching for other such joyriders, Snyder said
My question is this: What was the age of the "adult woman?" 18 and a day or 36?
